    • Learn one of the fastest growing sports from one of the area’s best coaches, Michelle Finegan, Head Coach at St. Joseph’s University and founder of FSC Field Hockey Club. Weekly, players will go through a series of drills and instruction during the first part of the class and then be split into teams for scrimmages. 

    Each class consists of 45 minutes of skill/drills and 45 minutes of games.

    Program will be held on our Taraflex surface!

    FSC Field Hockey Club

    Club Information:
    FSC will be hosting open try outs for U12, U14, U16 and U19 age divisions for our competitive club team. The selected U16 and U19 groups should plan to participate in the USFHA National Hockey Festival in Phoenix, Arizona in November of 2010. Divisions are decided by the athlete’s age as of January 1, 2010. (i.e. 16, 17, 18 on January 1, 2010 are U19 Division, 14, 15 , 16 on January 1, 2010 are U16 Division 12, 13 on January 1, 2010 are U14). In order to be compliant with the NCAA, your home address must be within 50 miles of Saint Joseph’s University, 5600 City Ave, Philadelphia, PA. 19131. FSC is a registered USFHA Club and each registrant must be a USA Field Hockey Association member.

    FSC 2010 Clinic Tryout Health Waiver Form

    Cost per person to attend one or up to three tryouts is $35.
    This will cover our facility expenses for the tryouts.

    Tryout Dates & Time:

    Saturday, May 8 at Bucksmont (Indoor Court)
    U12, U14, U16 & U19 – 8:00 AM to 11 AM
    Sunday, May 16 at Bucksmont (Indoor Court & Turf)
    U12, U14, U16 & U19 – 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    Friday, May 21 at Saint Joseph’s University (Outdoor Turf)
    U16, U19 (ONLY) – 7:00 – 9:00 PM

    Pre-Registration and same day registration is accepted. All tryouts will be held rain or shine! Mouth guards and shin guards are mandatory during all FSC events. Goal Keepers are required to provide their own equipment. Each participant must
    show current membership with USA Field Hockey. Membership can be obtained on the website: www.usfieldhockey.com
